First card game I was introed to was Magic. I still enjoy it, but it's a tad expensive for a casual hobby.

Ascension, Cards Against Humanity, and Hearthstone are my go to's right now.

Not sure if you would classify The Resistance as a card game, it plays like Werewolf/Mafia but also includes cards that can help or be against both teams. Also, Big 2/Landlord.

lol yeah magic is pretty expensive. I just proxy entire decks ;D it saves me $$$.

 

But besides that I like a lot of the games also mentioned already. Big 2 and The Resistance. My bluffing and detection skills increased dramatically after playing that with my friends. I got so good that I had to take it easy or else people would get crazy mad at me lolol

1000 blank cards and Munchkin mostly. But my friends are terrible so Munchkin often takes hours because every last thing will be done to keep someone from winning.

i used to play pokemon alot, i collected magic the gathering card as well since i really like art but never really got into playing

Egyptian rat screw was the game of choice in my middle school. It ended up getting banned after we started a tournament system (complete with wagers!) and things got a bit too violent.

 

My point is, I could totally beat you.
