Like I said, this has been happening like every week and no one was enforcing the rule, so you won't be penalized this time but yes, it would probably be a good idea to give the rules a thorough read just to be safe.

Probably not but a lot of the threads get locked when Voting gets posted xD

No they don't. Voting goes up but the entry threads generally stay open. The only time a thread would be locked with this sort of competition, is when the Voting is finished and we want to 'lock' those votes so no one can change them.
