Are you going somewhere, pet?
As a northern type, I genuinely believe that you refer to all women as pet and will not be told otherwise.

I was told by one of you years ago that I have a "posh American accent," but I've yet to figure out what that means. Harvard accent?

What. The. Fuck. Was that? Geuinuely the most confusing mixture of accents and high pitched pre-puberty dialogue I've ever heard.
You got a problem with kawaii things??? Also to be honest my microphone makes me sound way more high pitched than I actually am

Oh! I forgot to mention, while you're right about the accents here, your bastardized French accent was pretty horrible lmao!
You're right about "there" becoming "dere", though XD Along with "Th" sounds becoming simply "T" sounds.. like Thumb becomes "Tumb"..
Thin becomes "Tin" and Three becomes "Tree". It's pretty hilarious, I tease my Dad all the time.

Oh, I wasn't really attempting to do it besides when I said the dere. I know I'd kill it horribly. I haven't been around them too much, to be honest, but I certainly have heard the T sounds, too! A lot of Northern Ontario Canadians sound like that particularly around the Timmins area. There's so many different ones, too. Like British Columbia (excluding Victoria/Vancouver) sounds so much different from Alberta

Your accent voice whatever really does sound very child-like
Haha, hopefully in a cute-but-not-annoying sort of way
I try to make up for it with my sass, and by cursing like a sailor

The Western Canadian accent sounds really distinct to me, but I'm from the Maritimes and am told the same thing by them. It's really weird how that works, eh?
Where abouts were you living exactly when you stayed here for a few years? Eastern I'd assume?

When I lived in Canada I found it weird when people said Zed instead of Zee for 'z' I've never heard it anywhere else.
