Just started this last night, got through the first 4 episodes. Why did no one mention that Desmond was in this?? Although really not liking him in this show.

So far it's ok, I keep wondering where they are getting all these tools from? Shovel, Gun, Blades? Anyone? Were they equipped with essentials on the drop ship?

But since I don't make any decision without at least watch three episodes, everything can change. Now I only need to find the time to do it.

I know what I said about this series on the first day, but I LOVE IT now. I'm so excited for the season finale next week. I'm a bit bothered by the plot cliche's, but I've watched enough TV and read enough books to consider everything a cliche after Don Quixote. I want to talk about this show, but there is A LOT to talk about.

The Reapers are so fucked up. When I think of reapers, I think of instant death, but they keep their victims alive suffering and starving? Also, if Anja/Anya's grounders are (relatively) civilized, why can't the reapers civil as well? That moment when you see one of the Reapers drop a piece of meat he;s been eating and realize it's from Anja's tribe because of the "bumps of a warrior".

 

I can feel for Clarke playing hard to get with Finn. If I were in her situation and just got out of potentially being eaten/killed by two different groups of people while always on survival mode, I wouldn't have the energy to fall in love. There's also the Raven situation and being hurt from it, but eh. I think Finn just chose a wrong time to talk about it.

 

Murphy, I hope you step on a landmine.

Totally agreed that Clarke is way too focused on surviving right now to fall into some deep conversation about her and Finn. Definitely bad timing. I really think they'll decide to get together in Part Two, just for fan service.

 

God, yes. I was suspicious of Murphy the second I saw him come back, and all of last episode confirmed how scummy he is. Cannot wait to see him eat shit.

I've heard it was similar to Lord of The Flies and Battle Royale but I haven't read either so I have no idea. lol
But was it one of those?

I feel like anything that involves people in a remote area killing each other/dying is said to be similar to Lord of the Flies and Battle Royale.

Caught up on OITNB and Grey's Anatomy this weekend so I need something new. (Was gonna start the s3 of Sherlock... but for some reason the first 5 minutes annoyed me enough to quit.)
