So for those of us who play on Pokemon Showdown sometimes we have a battle we're just super proud of and we want to share it. Here is your place to do so!

In order to avoid an entire thread of single links there'll be some rules:

  • You must post words with your link explaining what you liked or disliked about your battle.
  • You must comment on someone else's battle replay that they've shared. Offer your opinion on their battle or advice.
  • Please try and follow the established format.
  • If you beat @Ivysaur you gotta post that. Period. :p

So without further ado:

What I really like about this replay is you can see how I set up, got stopped, set up again, and then swept with a very OP Cloyster.

My Cloyster is holding a Choice Band and has the Skill Link ability. So a 2x att and 2x spe boost from the Shell Smash on top of the 1.5x attack from the Choice band with 252 IVs invested make for a deadly combination. Especially for Dragons and Grass type which run rampant.

I don't understand why you use Rock Slide and nothing else though. Was it banded?

In my battle I really like how I used the Shell Smashed Cloyster to effectively stomp his team to the dirt.

No because the only other attacking move I had on it was Earthquake.

Doesn't work much against flying types.

That was my other thought but figured I'd be better off just asking. Sandstorm teams are kind of hard to use imo. I prefer Rain teams.

It's not even a sandstorm team. I just like the physical bulk.

I know absolutely nothing about team composition and go with what I like. ┐(゚∀゚)┌

I've found it's fun to use a team that compliments each other.

Since I don't have a new replay to comment on...

I lose my Dragonite right off the bat. Come back with my Gyarados-Mega, and then finally finish with a double Shell Smashed Cloyster after putting his Chansey to sleep. All in all a good game.

I just lost epically in a PP staller battle.

The opponent used a Contrary Shell Smash Shuckle, in turn 87 I'd finally Struggled myself to death.

Oh yeah... 1v1.

I decided to try my hand at Balanced Hackmons.

It would seem my opponent didn't like that. That must be the reason they forfeited. -_-
