But I guess nothing can stand in the way of moar profits. I'd rather see a drastic gameplay change rather than a region remake with a few new megas. But that's just me.

Well to be honest, this remake is going to have a kind of drastic gameplay change compared to the originals :0 Like the changes won't be as huge as GS->HGSS, but some things ORAS has that the originals don't are the physical/special split in attacks etc, triple and horde battles, and fairies ^^ Other than adding and fixing up battle mechanics I don't think you'll get much drastic change in the main series games though hehehe <3

 

At least there's always that Pokemon Wii U game they still need to talk about and the detective Pikachu game?~

I think they'll probably make more changes than they did in HG/SS. Maybe they'll add something along the lines of the Sevii Islands from FR/LG? Or change/expand on the plot to incorporate megas?

 

(I always forget the physical/special split didn't happen until gen IV. What were they thinking with Sharpedo in gen III???)

From the reports I'm hearing the Mega Stones are also including Latios and Latias, as well as Hypno. A Mega-Hypno may pump some life into that little hypnotist!
