I'm reluctant to put a ban on it since people use multiple life orbs and leftovers.

 

As long as people don't go too crazy, I think it's okay.

What is "Item Clause"? Do you have a link to that rule? I'm fairly sure the only banned items are Soul Dew and some Mega Stones.

It's a rule set in place that doesn't allow more than one of the same item being used on a team.

It's weird because I don't see the item clause in any of the linked guide on the OP. The item caluse I'm thinking about was the no item duplication, no two pokemon in one team can have the same item. It strikes me odd because that rule has been constant in previous generations =/
