#1: i don't think the subject is good enough and the photo is supposed to be either landscape or potrait. a square photo looks kinda awkward. but i do appreciate the composition of the cards.
#2: interesting pattern! love how it has multiple layers as well as shadow and light. i just wish the entrant could rotate the photo about 5° clockwise to make the pattern more horizontally-aligned.
#3: another intriguing subject! never seen that type of flower before... i love how the entrant put the flower off-center. but i find the photo really small... it'd be great to see more details at the center of the flower. that's usually the best part of flowers.
#4: i love it! the cloud pattern is very interesting and i find it very ingenious for the entrant to include the foliage in the picture as it serves as a border to the whole image. good job!
#5: the building has an interesting facade, no doubt, but it should've been taken at the center otherwise it won't make a strong impact. also it's a little dissapointing not to be able to see the sculpture/detailings inside the building because it's almost fully-covered by the shadow.
#6: this photo has a flow to it. it's great! i like the fact that the building isn't perfect too with black patches on the brickwork.
#7: took me awhile to get what the pattern is. the contrast is really great in this one! love the addition of the birds, although i find it a tad bit distracting.
#8: you can never go wrong with pictures of flowers because they're all pretty but the entrant should've submitted a landscape or a potrait picture. a square picture is okay but it must has a strong reason to it like to exaggerate symmetry or whatnot.
#9: ferris wheel! i kinda like this but i wish the photo is zoomed out a bit to see the setting.
#10: another photo of flowers. it's okay i guess but perhaps the entrant could emphasize on the flow more by taking the photo a little bit on the left. good job, nevertheless.
#11: this one has a flow to it and i love the fact the entrant decided to make it black and white. it actually propels the picture's impact. nice!
#12: this is too blurry, i'm afraid. but i love the subject! i love how the whole picture made up by cool colors. i think this is the best nature-themed photo for this round.
#13: the pattern isn't very interesting and it's quite blurry, i'm sorry. the entrant should've emphasized the flawed pattern more and like entry #1, it could use a little rotation.
