Spoiler

Entry two was unable to be rehosted - in future, this will be a disqualifiable issue. You get a free pass for this round, though.

If you vote, it would be great if you could post some feedback on your choice. Posting feedback on more than that would be extra-great.

Almost forgot - Voting will continue until midday EST on Saturday. :)

I wish I could vote for more than one!

These are some really impressive entries, I'm going to have to hold off on voting because I can't make up my mind! I've narrowed it down to my top 5 though.

Well done everyone, I am very impressed :D

I voted for Entry 7, this was a difficult decision for me because there are so many really great entries. I am so impressed with you all!

The reason I voted for 7 was because as I was viewing the entries that was the one that made me stop and think, capturing the birds in flight is just awesome and this may sound like a really cliche interpretation of the photo but it looks so post apocalyptic and the birds fleeing is like the last sign of hope leaving it all behind. I CANT EXPLAIN MY FEELS.

Yay, I'm glad this contest is back!  So much entries! It was difficult to choose but decided to vote for entry #12, I really like the close-up. The color of the leaf margin and the background makes it really special.

#12 - I love the closeness and detail

#11 - I love that it's in black and white

#9 - I almost submitted a similar picture

#7 - I love the simple pattern of the building, and love the touch of the birds, really great shot.

#6 - I really like that you have two pattern's here, the building bricks, and then the wiring thing (idk what it's called)

Aghh these are my top 5 so far, still trying to narrow it down.

I'm struggling it either to make a choice, these are amazing entries!

I was able to narrow it down to three, tho. I will think about it and make my choice later.

#7 - I like the "imperfections" of it: the old looking building; the birds placed only on the corner, like they were trying to escape from something that scared them; the point of view (the person who took the picture could have taken it looking straight to the building, or even from below, but instead they decided for this "angular view" - don't know if it was intentional or it was a thing decided in the moment to be able to caught the birds too, but whatever the reason was, it worked).

#8 - I love it. I love the details of it, as well as its colors. I'm a bit sad, tho, since there was a green background from the foliage, who took the photo could've worked with it in order to frame the flowers. Two or three centimeters away from the flowers would have been perfect: the details were still be able to be shown as well as the entire petals, instead of leave out some of its tips.

#12 - I think this might be me favorite nature-related. The brightness of the green; the use of the light; the little white veins that look like rivers eager to reach to end of their curse; the purposed blur worked really well, almost seems that this is only a portion of a leaf that was cutted, and we can even see some tiny blobs of blood on its edges.

I voted for 7.  To me, it looked like the birds taking flight were kind of...escaping imprisonment in the bleak building? I suppose, gaining freedom or something is the feel I get from this. Going out of bleak world toward one hopefully better. Or maybe something pure finally getting away from something crumbling and dark. Idk.
