How do you guys even use 4 monitors?

Half the time, one of my monitors just plays a tv show because I don't have any other uses for it :p

Might be because they have a real job.

Considering pyro's is for home use.

Yup.

And at work, I have multiple monitors, but still only use one, because all of the others have usage graphs from the servers.

Monitor 1 (linux) = Firefox
Monitor 2 (linux) = Terminal / Irssi (terminal based irc client)
Monitor 3 (windows) = VLC (music) / Primary gaming window
Monitor 4 (windows) = Usually its empty, but im still use to dual screening stuff, so it does come in use.

With this number of monitors im able to lay out my ideas much easier because there is so much more space.

Monitor one: primary gaming/surfing monitor.
Monitor two: papers (writing or reading)/game streams/browser when gaming on monitor one.

Pyro: Try out foobar2000 instead of VLC :p

Bro...You earn almost as much as me. When are you going to upgrade that baby TV?

Posted Image
"Desktop" with 65" Plasma for a monitor, wireless mouse and keyboard so I can use it from the couch. 1TB hard drive + a 1TB external drive plugged in, using it for AutoCAD drawings, watching movies and playing a few games like SC2 or CS 1.6. Tax write off because I'm using it for CAD (work related) and property investment research / accounting.

Laptop with 16" widescreen display, 500gb hdd, used for work purposes, programming, chatting etc. Tax write off because I'm using it for work purposes (log books, documents, assignments etc)

Bro.... Ours is only 5" smaller than your tv ;) so i wouldnt call it a baby. Im looking at turning that whole wall into a monitor at some stage. Projector with a 3x2 metre screen hehehe

Edit: Fixed your post to remove the x5 quotes you had of my post; soul__stealer

^ cheers i was on my phone and it was being a bitch connecting lol my bad

5" goes a long way, if you know what you're doing. Don't let the girls tell you otherwise.

I've seen it happening with other people's posts too. In fact, every time I post it seems to take forever to load, but I just sit here and wait, because I know if I touch anything, it'll repeat itself 5 times and I'll look retarded like you did.

Now, how did I know you would pipe up and make a comment like that one punk? :p This is why I put 'Ours is only 5" smaller than your TV' <<<<<< XD to TRY and make it sound less like a comparison of other sorts....

Mind if I ask why VLC and not Clementine or Winamp or Foobar2000? :o

Syaopup - what is in the organizer on the left side of the picture? Beads?

Yup, those are hama beads (perler beads in the US). I separate them into different colors so it's easier for me to bead awesome stuff like these.

So you have two different oses for your monitors?

Its just a VM for one of them right? The other sound seem like hell.

Well here is my actually desktop layout....

Posted Image

and here is my 'station' xD Pretty simple, G195HQ Acer Monitor and some basic logitech speakers which put out some quite good sound, got an unused dell laptop on the side which isn't being used since its HDD is being used in my desktop since my hdd is dead. Pretty simple Althon Dual Core pc with 2 gb ram, Radeon HD 4870 gpu, 500 watt psu, pretty basic but works. needing an upgrade and planning one in a week or so. Oh and yeah got my 'rocks' too, some quarts and stuff. 2 cups and took the picture with my Galaxy S II

My Target STation would be 2 Screens. Better speakers, Faster comp, better case, better gpu etc etc. A more usuable laptop that ISN'T a dell and more cups, gotta have dem cups if you know what I mean ;)

LOL no fucking way xD

Its Chrome but I just couldn't be fucked creating an icon for it to match up with the current one's ahahahah

When I get my pc updated to an AM3+ Motherboard and 6 Core AMD FX along with some ripjaws ram, probably 2 sticks of 4gb and a new barracuda HDD i'll think about taking the time to fully theme everything else...

Your power sockets and time zone say Australian, but your date format says American... Wassup with that?

If you set your Windows Location to Australia and timezone to '(UTC +10:00) Brisbane' originally, the date would have Automatically been set in Australian format, so you, or someone has for whatever reason manually gone in and actually changed the setting ;)

I dunno, I probably did, it is set to my time zone but meh. Maybe Im retarded?

More because some people are just observant. There's really not too many Australians that I personally know who would leave their date format like that and I know quite a number of them who get frustrated when the date format in Excel stuffs them around because it uses MM/DD/YYYY format too. It was more then likely just something that he noticed as a peculiar thing and was curious.

I can understand it... My mum threw her laptop out a window cus of it once xD

Haha like Soul said, it's weird that someone from Australia would have that date format. It'd be confusing If you weren't used to it.

T'was just fishing for some information about Magnetism :)
