I need sugestions on comics (where/who are our comic geeks around here?) but I don't want super-hero craps. Just horror/sci-fi/gore/bloody stuff :v

A Mother's Reckoning by Sue Klebold. She's the mother of one of the Columbine shooters. The book is pretty insightful.

Reading list:

- A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess

- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

- The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace by Jeff Hobbs

- A Deadly Wandering: A Mystery, a Landmark Investigation, and the Astonishing Science of Attention in the Digital Age by Matt Richtel

- finish Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

- Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy

- When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

- finish Catch-22 by Joseph Heller

- probably read The Road by Cormac McCarthy for the eighth time.

Just started the Bourne series by Robert Ludlum. The Maze Runner is on my list after that.

@Emily A Clockwork Orange is really interesting because Burgess basically created his own slang for the novel. After a while, you start understanding it without having to think about it which I thought was pretty cool. Check out Child of God by McCarthy too, I thought it was pretty good.

I've been so distracted that I haven't read any of them yet, but I definitely need to get on it. I'll have to check that one out too. I love McCarthy's writing style for some reason. The Road is one of my favourite books.

Haha, I hear ya. I've got stacks and stacks of books in my room waiting to be read. But I can't stop buying them! My summer resolution is read one book a week. And I haven't read The Road yet, I'll add it to the stacks.

Yeah, the list just keeps growing. You should though! It's essentially about a father and son traveling through a post-apocalyptic world. I just went and bought it for my Kindle because I left the paperback at home. My paperback version is pretty much torn to pieces though.
