For the days when I just can't be bothered. (Why do I never get notifications when you tag me?)
Beats me, I don't even think I tagged you in that post.
Ali Ali oxen free.

Are we playing hide and seek...or is it a reference I'm not getting?
Just testing the notification. Did it work?
It's probably not good when you've got to the point of seeing potential references in all of my posts. xD

I never know with you. References could be hiding anywhere.
Next you'll be stalking me in the online members list.
I already used my rather blatant reference in the Coltom thread.

I saw but as per, I've only ever read the book.
Indeed, I am anonymous, it's a good job I'm immune to the anonymity of others though so I can stalk with reckless abandon. I wonder if the tags just don't work when they're added as an edit. @Ali
I've read the book and seen the adaptation with John Thaw, it's actually really good.

But I'm anonymous...who else is possibly worth stalking?Indeed, I am anonymous, it's a good job I'm immune to the anonymity of others though so I can stalk with reckless abandon. I wonder if the tags just don't work when they're added as an edit. @Ali

Well that did work so quite possibly.
I didn't know you had books in the north, how delightful.
I guess Joe could be worth a stalking every now and then but he's mellowed recently so he's a bit dull now.
And yeah, we usually have to burn books to keep warm in the winter since Thatcher shut down the coal mines but in the summer we can read them (those few of us able to read anyway ).

That's the nicest thing you've said about me in weeks
How many other things have I said about you in that time?

He was ill, and it's less that he's worth stalking and more the drama that unfolds around him.I guess Joe could be worth a stalking every now and then but he's mellowed recently so he's a bit dull now.

It's the north, I thought you'd need the book burnings year round in the land of eternal winter.
We huddle for warmth in the summer and the only book burnings which take place then are recreational.

Like penguins....but penguins are very much from the south. My poor girlish brain is so confused. What will you be burning this evening for fun?We huddle for warmth in the summer and the only book burnings which take place then are recreational.

(For anyone wondering, Waser's main purpose on staff at present is to keep me amused)
No, like sociable tramps.
This evening we will be mostly burning a 30ft wicker man effigy of Brian Blessed.

I think this is a very good example of what Waser has mostly been doing for the past couple of weeks!Let me know when you're done, so I can clean this up.

It's probably about time she got a warning for this, I've told her about it a few times now...

The cheek. You encourage this.
I would hardly think somebody known for being distinctly lacklustre would be like to encourage anything.
And yeah, I think we're done in here. We'll take her thread derailing elsewhere.
Wait, I don't remember creating this thread... Especially given its completely false title...

I'm sensing shenaniganisms going on here...
I'm sure this is slander against my good married name.
*libel
Also, it's against my good, possibly, married name too.
