Aw I'm so glad someone made a Food Club topic. I've been doing this forever (It was my main source of income once upon a time) and enjoy the gambling/statistics.

Not always, like I see some people ten-betting him EVERY DAY. Yesterday was that case. I didn't include him on my bets. And I got my NP back and some more.

(now multiply those +200k for 6 (the number of accounts I use to play FC) and... well. I really like NP. )

 

What I'm saying is: the USUALLY safe choices are NOT ALWAYS safe, and Gooblah it's an example of it. He's reliable maybe 70% of the times with steady winnings.

Squire, on the other hand, it's the opposite. Even thought it's not that rare the times he wins, when he does, the payouts are astronomic (especially when he wins with a 13 against 2 in all his direct adversaries - and it happens more than we think).

Now I'm wondering if I should begin a hold now (ehhh) or collect today and start a hold on the 25th.

Low risk doesn't seem to pay out well, but the catch is basically the hedge bet (the 1-2 bets completely different from the main body of bets, usually the safe statistical opposite) prevents you from losing too much money in the long run.

trying to make 3mill by the end of next month, to buy a Lost Desert PB.

Currently holding at 180:20. Still think I picked a bad time to start a hold but whatever. There will always be FC. There will not always be 144:10 wins.

 

Today at least looks better to bet than the last couple days.

 

Edit, whew, 56:10 today. Still holding 236:30. Just shy of two mil NP at the moment, so I don't know that I'll hit trophy status.

Isn't strength a largely moot factor? From hugo's remarks i always had the mindset that food adjustments were big in upsets.

 

And it always makes me laugh how neopets somehow snuck in a gambling game in a 'kid-friendly' zone

Yeah I don't put too much stake in the "strength" aspect and the adjustments definitely are huge as far as the upsets go. I think the Food Club and other betting/gambling portions of the website can only be viewed on accounts where the user has stated they are over 18.

still is weird for a site that bans out 'tumblr', facebook' and other externally worldly stuff. Food club is sort of rad through

 

I still don't like how only 13 year old accounts are the ones able to get the trophy
