ive had the money to get one for about a month, but i cant really decide which id rather have. i like ps controllers much more but like all the extras the xbox one offers. anyone have both and can give me a good reason why one is better than the other?

PS4 is by far the better choice as it simply has more graphical processing power.

However when I had the choice I just built myself a gaming PC.

PC games are so much cheaper.

I love my PS4 and all of it's features; however, my only gripe is the lack of game selections. There seem to be so many more xbone games than PS4, but according to ps4daily.com there should be a ton of games being released for the rest of the year.

I would buy a PS4 myself only because some of my favorite game franchises exists on there. Not sure about the specs.

i was leaning towards the ps4 anyways because of the better specs and the controller. the games are just so blah right now. i know that will change, playstation always seems to come out with more and better rpgs than microsoft. i wish it were backwards compatible! thats one reason i love my 1st gen ps3. i already have a nice gaming cpu but i enjoy consoles and controllers over a keyboard and a mouse :)

Xbox One's media capabilities are awesome - the graphics processing power really didn't sway me at all.

Well, E3 is happening soon!! Sony and MS might announce some games so you could wait and see what happens then before making any decisions ^^

Personally if I had the money for a PS4 sitting there and was gonna use it on stuff like this, I'd put it into my PC... PC Games just blow nearly all Console games out of the water. Yes consoles have exclusives but personally I dislike playing games with a controller like that. I love my Keyboard and Mouse haha.

BUT If I did have to choose I'd probably pick an XBOX One because of the extra media options. Until the PS4 lets me plug in USB's/HDD's etc and play Music and Videos etc off them I doubt it'd really be considered by me at all.

Though If I wanted to choose mainly based on gaming I'd probably go for the PS4 since I've read a large amount of reviews and everyone overall seems to enjoy the gaming experience on a ps4 more than the XBOX One..

Oh and 1 main reason I stick to my PC? www.humblebundle.com :D

lol i pretty much feel the opposite and love controllers and using my television to play. i use to play cs and played wow for a LONG time before i just got tired of it. I have an extremely nice gaming pc but its a waste of money because i dont really game on it. i bought the ps4 and love it. ive only really played watch dogs so far but im really looking forward to whatever ffs come out or other awesome rpgs. so for now ill just get a gamefly script and test the waters.

I know people like that, but I love my FPS and HATE games which use controllers, i like to aim and be able to freely move whichever way I please but I so far haven't played an FPS on a console that has the same feeling with a controller.

To be honest I'd only buy a console to play guitar hero xD

guitar hero is awesome and i own pretty much every single one of them. if id have spent half as much time learning to play real guitar as ive spent shredding my axe on xbox and ps3 id be a mini slash. which reminds me didnt they come out with a guitar hero type game that uses real chords and strings from an actual electric guitar? cant remember what its called but i may have to invest. anyone tried it?

Wait till E3 to buy anything; they'll be announcing new games that will make your decision a little easier. ^^ I agree with a lot of the other users here though: putting the money into a PC will definitely go a lot farther than a console. If you like console gaming though, I would go with the PS4.

I agree with the idea to wait until E3, but also take into consideration what type of gamer you are. If you're more focused on gaming seriously, I'd go for the PS4. But if you feel like the entertainment options the Xbone has, don't be ashamed to go for that. People have their opinions, but it all comes down to what you want to put your money into - what will you get the most fun out of?
