I was browsing r/Pokemon a few months ago and stumbled upon this gem.

Since there were a lot of changes in the 6th generation weakness/resistances department, this chart has proved invaluable for me.

I'm hoping some veterans as well as newer players benefit from it as much as I have!

Feel free to post if you need any clarification as far as weaknesses, resistances or typing is concerned!

Note: I did not make this chart! Feel free to give Karma to the OP!

I have almost everything memorized, but I still prefer the classic chart. I like that it shows 1x effective attacks, too.

To each their own. :p

omg THANK YOU for this! I can't tell you how many times I've tried to look up type effectiveness charts and for some reason my brain just has so much trouble processing the graph looking ones and ones that look like excel spreadsheets. This one is so much more straightforward.

Fortunately or not, I'm still playing gen five games. So I haven't had to mess with fairy at all.

Cool graphs, guys.

I love it ;) It's a better overview than the german I used the last time I started.

Ditto. But I'll be using this chart when I finally get my hands on one of the gen 6 games. :)

I used to use the chart that Bone posted. I've since memorized most of it. I forget less common stuff like Bug but for the most part I know my effectiveness well.

Ah, I love that chart! Thanks.

I remember most of them except for bug - fairy is surprisingly straightforward. I feel I mess up sometimes because I forget bug and dark weaknesses.

My favourite thing to remember is psychic's weaknesses.. Everything people are afraid of; ghost, bugs, dark

That's a pretty good chart, actually. It has all of the weaknesses and resistances grouped for each type, which is really what is important. Much easier to read.

Though after playing for so long, I have all that memorized. Fortunately, the addition of the Fairy type did not shake things up too badly IMO.
