Is it any good? I've heard some good things about it, but it looks like GTA but with a few tweaks.

I heard the driving mechanics suck though.

Eh, its fun, a bit GTA like.. Could be better with more work. The damn previews we got months ago were so much better too in terms of graphics and some possible features that they still could have used. 

But I guess that's what we pc master race get when console owners cry about how their game looks shit compared to the same game on PC..

My boyfriend is a heavy PC gamer, while I'm a heavy console user.
I feel like I have no right to bitch about how much better the graphics are.
If I wanted, I could easily get a decent PC.

The way I see it, PC's are always going to be superior in terms of graphics capabilities and processing power. Consoles in my opinion are great though for people who love controllers and are on a budget. Especially when they already have a home PC. Though I spent only $1.1 on my pc, $900 of it on my hardware and its still got 2  and a half times the graphic and processing power of a ps4 and my pc is already 3 years old xD and its low-mid range hardware too.

Still waiting on a performance patch because the game runs like shit on PC

 

I got to to the end of Act 1 of the campaign, the stuttering is just

I wanted to like it, I really did.

It just didn't hold my attention at all.

It was fun at first, but it multiplies a lot of the flaws of open world games by making the side activities rather mindless and boring. It also suffers from a moral ambiguity that makes the lead character unlikable and leaves you questioning your own sensibilities about 30 seconds after you get into a gun fight. Just to make my playthrough less jarring, I actually had to carefully choose who to steal from for money, but since you have to steal to make any money anyway.. you still feel like a terrible person.

 

All in all, gameplay is fine, but the story makes it rather lack luster.
