I've fought with the Tiki man and found that I've been unable to attack for up to 3 rounds while he can throw stuff at me. Is this normal? does he put me to sleep or freeze me? Sorry if this seems like a weird and stupid question!

Enable your battle log. It should tell you what's going on there.

If im not mistaken, bd challengers can use abilities more than we can. Let us know what the battle log says though

Throw Pillows, Shhhh, Warlock's Rage, Lens Flare will all prevent you from attacking, although I've never experienced it with Tiki Man, it does seem that he has the ability "Throw Pillows" (it's one use for us, but BD challengers seem to be able to spam it).
