Dogs, cats, reptiles etc. are all pretty great pets (actually scratch cats; I'm allergic so they suck) but if you could have any one wild animal as a pet what would it be?

 

I've always loved lemurs so for me it'd have to be one of them.

Maybe a malayan flying lemur, because look how cute they are

 

 

 

Of course I'd have to build some sort of elaborate jungle gym so it could get its climbing rocks off but aside from that I'm sure it'd work just fine.

 

What interesting critter would you like as your companion?

I would like a micro-micro-giraffe. Like a micro-pig but obviously with a greater size difference.

 

If I'm not allowed to have someone spend years breeding incredibly tiny giraffes, I'm going with a fox. Just because I like them. When they aren't yowling and destroying bin bags...A countryside fox, not an urban fox.

Although people in Dubai have pet cheetahs so is a tiger really that unrealistic

Cats have always done right by me.

But if I had to choose to enslave a wild animal to be my familiar, I'd choose the ring tailed lemur. Mostly because pandas are too fucking fat and lazy.

When I was in elementary school, there was this poster of a blue whale in the cafeteria. Underneath the ghastly creature was a ton of small children I'd never seen before lined up to show you how big the whale was. Consider being a small child, looking at this horrific size chart while you yourself wait in a lunch line filled with small children. It symbolized a terrible cycle of nature for me. Line up the small children and let them eat their meatloaf and chocolate milk. Once the kids were done eating, just get them to stand in this other line to get devoured by a fucking blue whale, because that clearly was the fate of the kids in the poster. I'd seen that Pink Floyd video with the potato-faced kids being led to the grinder. I knew what they wanted us kids for. I wasn't fucking stupid.

So what was it you had against domesticating blue whales because all of that sounds pretty positive to me.

Why do you think you hardly see any young children swimming in the open ocean? Because the blue whales eat them, that's why.

Also I googled the lemur I chose and wikipedia has this to say about it

"The Sunda flying lemur is not a lemur and does not fly."

A breed of foxes are already domesticated, you get your dream pet already! For me, I'd like a furry tract- i mean bear.
