Needs some pvp rules like how far can you go with it like camping people or adding safe zones where you can't be killed. I would imagine it to be utterly frustrating to a newer player to get killed and looted over and over again.

How about you all just don't open other chests that aren't yours? Is that really that hard?

and we can host things like "hunger games" if your really that blood thirsty

Stealing will hopefully be a non problem.

I hope that people that join the server respect each other enough to not take things that do not belong to them.

 

That being said, if it can be proven that someone stole from another player, they will be banned.

 

I still don't really have a stance on PvP or looting each other yet. I'll make another thread and poll to see what you guys think before the server comes up.

Reddit has separate PvP and PvE servers. Maybe we could do something similar since the idea of having multiple servers has already been thrown around. Like a vanilla PvE server and a PvP FTB server?

I'm down with PVP. I'm not going to survive long, but I'll do my best running away or hiding behind trees.

I'm not much into PvP, but I could play it if that's the only option. I like the idea of having two servers, one for PvP and the other for PvE.

I also think that stealing would be not much of a deal, we may be a cheating community, but we (most of US, at least) don't steal, those are different things.

Player versus environment, meaning we wouldn't be able to kill each other.

Its hilarious when people get into situations where they accidentally hit and kill each other, but I'm cool with either. I just hope that we don't spawn in an area where food is scarce for some reason, that happened once and we all just died from starvation until we had set up a wheat farm.

I'm getting pretty excited for this, we could build a town with an economy running on minerals and diamonds and laugh at each other for falling to their deaths and such.

I believe most people will spawn in a similar area. So In a way if there's a building there you're all good.
