Introduction

Every time when we think of increasing our pet's intelligence, we would think of buying books to give to it to read. However, there is actually a much faster way to achieve Ultimate Genius - play Cliffhanger.

Of course, the Cliffhanger auto player has been posted by quite a lot of people but I just want to demonstrate how you can earn neopoints while at the same time, give your pet an intelligence boost to Ultimate Genius in just 3 days!

Steps

1. Download and install Mozilla Firefox at http://www.mozilla.c...&uid=208179&t=1.
2. Install Greasemonkey 1.8 at https://addons.mozil...ersions/?page=2.
3. Install Cliffhanger auto player at http://www.gamegrandmaster.com/gm/cliffhanger_auto.user.js
4. Select the pet that you want to increase intelligence and make it your active pet.
5. Click on http://www.neopets.c...iffhanger.phtml and the game will start to auto play.
6. Stop the game after 1 hour and you should be able to get from "average" to "mega genius". (Note: The game will stop earning neopoints after you earned 1500 nps which only takes a few minutes. So if you want to earn maximum nps, you may just want to leave it for around 5 minutes everyday but it would take much longer to get to Ultimate Genius.)
7. Repeat step 4 and 5 for the next 2 days and you should be able to get to "Ultimate Genius".

Conclusion

That's the end of the guide. Post here if you have any queries and if your pet has become Ultimate Genius using the above method.

Yes, thank you!

I've seen somebody on the BD board try to lower their pet's intelligence to 0.

What are the benefits or costs of increasing intelligence?

Thank you so much for this! ^_^ I've been looking for a new cliffhanger autoplayer GM script as the old one I used to use was no longer working. xD +rep

If I'm not mistaken, you'll be able to use certain BD items if your pet's intelligence is high.

Sweet man, but the Neocodex Program Manager has a Cliffhanger autoplayer as well. I think I personally would prefer it that way; you can be rid of steps 1, 2, 3 , and replace step 5 with "Open up the Cliffhanger AP in the Program Manager". Not that I'm telling you how to write your own guide, of course. :p

Cheers though - it's certainly much better than buying books. :D

I don't know what's the reason for lowering pet's intelligence. But some BD weapons have added effect for high intelligence pets,

There's at least one weapon that does more damage if the opponents pet is more intelligent.

Was the "I'm bored, let's play another game" or whatever message removed recently? Because not long ago, like half year maybe, I was playing Cliffhanger and couldn't do more than 3-4 games without that boring message that pops up in games like these to appear.

But, nice guide nonetheless. If only I was able to put Greasemonkey to work on my Firefox. :p

I have just uploaded the GM script to my own website server so you can install immediately after you click on the GM script link. The previous link does not allow you to install as the install link is linked back to userscript.org which is already down.
