you are just now doing that? I did that in 6th grade.

I did it in middle school and high school too. I think it's just because I'm in Bio 101 for non-science majors so they're making us do the kid stuff lol

Today, I learnt that I'm rubbish at cardio but now that I've learnt what a pizookie is, life's good.

My whole class did poorly on the cardio exam this semester. Don't worry!

Today I learned that too much selenium can cause blindness in cows and spinal cord problems in pigs!

Cool! Yeah, with chronic toxicosis animals can get hair loss as well. The chronic form is called Alkali Disease (exam tomorrow)

Haha I don't know anyone else who has ranked their loves past 3 :)

So, some other interesting facts then (at least for animals) - copper and molybdenum are tightly intertwined. It is important to make sure the diet consists of 6:1 copper to molybdenum. Too much copper can lead to copper toxicosis (and blood problems) which can be treated with a molybdenum containing drug. While too much molybdenum can lead to serious GI problems and the loss of pigmented hair around the eyes. This would be treated with a copper containing drug!

It's more like they promise that they will limit greenhouse gases in the future... The minister says China hopes to peak emissions by 2030 lol

I really don't understand how no one is willing to do anything immediately about climate change like do they really think if they just ignore it it will go away?

Today I learnt that 40% of men do not wash their hands after using the loo, as opposed to 24% of women. That's vile.

Today I learned periods are a 'medical condition' that have to be 'treated' and most people who are making and selling cloth pads have been doing so illegally because they're medical devices.

Right? I was just watching this iconic VS show from 2005 when they did their 10th anniversary show and they look so much better.

TIL that William Henry Harrison (9th president of the U.S.) was the first president to die in office. He was president for a month. The stories say he died because he didn't wear a coat when he was giving his inaugural address and road horseback to the ceremony. He got pneumonia a few weeks later... which may or may not be related to the inauguration.
