I suspect it'd be even more frowned upon to work at a commercialized/casual aspect, but I understand what you're getting at.

 

I think a block of nice geometric pattern would be well-suited. Or maybe an Arabic lantern? Those are fairly standard symbols used.

You can just click the awards tab and it will show you all awards that can currently be obtained. You'll probably also see posts about new awards whenever they are created.

Or a techies type award, since I don't see any awards related to hardware/software type of stuff? In my head the way I had my ideas set out was much better than trying to type the stuff up haha

Why the heck would we award someone for being dumb enough to get banned and lucky enough to be welcomed back. That's just silly.

Though I like your second idea, like for programs and what not.
