The more I hear about TS4, the less I want to play it. It started when they announced there'd be no CAST and just has been on a downhill slope since then. Last I heard they weren't even planning on sending out review copies pre-release...which pretty much says it all, right there. Anyway, your thoughts?

I think it'll be much better without CAST. I know you could make different patterns and colors, but that made the game much slower.

I like the new building mode, it's much easier now.

True point. I'd rather have a more customizable game than a fast one, though--my slowass computer and all. At the least they could add more diverse clothing choices, I played the demo and wasn't impressed.

Right now the Create-A-Sim demo is free on Origin, if anyone wants to try it.

It's lame though.

I'm not happy with all the stuff that's being omitted from the game (no pools, no toddlers...wtf?)

Here's a list of features missing from The Sims 4

I'll still probably play because I've been a longtime Sims fan, but it's highly unlikely that I'll be purchasing the game.

Yup. I was less than impressed with the demo. Mainly because the body-morphing feature they were so proud of ran like shit on my computer, at least--it was jerky, unpredictable, and there was no way to fine-tune it.

It ran like that on mine too, I was like welp, fuck this.

I bought it on release day, played it for a few hours, haven't touched it since. It runs well on my computer, but I'm bored by it/have mixed feelings towards EA in general. I shouldn't have bought it.
