I started to read the build instructions, and it's actually very simple and easier than TS3. I hope I can come up with a good idea tonight

@Kate : That Sim is my new pixel crush. His screenshot folder is bursting. Sadly I am too lazy to edit, so I just keep saving pics for 'later use'....

 

@Swarley : Building IS easier in TS4. I like the whole drag and drop thing and also the whole wall height thing. Even though I think that when you have super high walls, the furniture looks ridiculously small.

Have you tried using the trick to make items bigger?

I pirated it by now. Main reason for that was the CC-boom that happened. There really is lots of stuff already, which makes everything more interesting for me. 
What is definitely needed, is a lightning mod though. WTF is this game so dark??

I still don't like the game. There's craptons of new custom content every day, which I enjoy (I just love downloading clothes and shit, it's like shopping, but relaxed and for free, lol), the gameplay itself I still find endlessly boring. There really is absolutely nothing new and things you can do are so limited and/or interrupted by freakin loading screens. I still can spend hours playing TS3, while I never can't keep myself entertained with TS4 for longer than an hour. I am couting on future EPs.

 

Think I'll go take some pics, to show off some cc, now.

I haven't played but I am iffy about the "back to the loading screen" thing. I am very upset with EA since they shut Pet Society down. I said I wouldn't play any more of their games ever... I played Sims 3 recently though, and lost my characters because of a bug when I installed the second EP. That doesn't make me love them more. If I play Sims 4 it will be a pirated version, fed up of those wankers.
