I'm American by nationality, but (arguably) Filipino and Hispanic (from Spain, not South America) by ethnicity. I really don't give a fuck what nationality I would be because it's not what you were born as that matters. It's all about where you were born and how you use that environment.

 

Likes about being Hispanic Filipino:

• I can plan the minority and political white status card at the same time, whenever I want. Good for scholarships and exclusive minority programs like First Generation and Omicron.
• I learned how to cool tasteful food.
• The two languages are somewhat similar phonetically so I have no trouble learning both at a very young age.

Dislikes about being Hispanic Filipino:

• Are you Asian or European? I'm very ethnically ambiguous.
• Will you be a nurse? (I almost confirmed to Binghamton for Nursing after High School, but I was like nah).
• Is your dick big or small?

I'd read only about 4 articles on this a while back and the best explanation I can give is the direction of attention upon first "contact" either by media, experience, or unconcious exposure creates the illusion of definite improbable meetings. I'll be happy to have a discussion with you on this topic in a PM because I have to answer other questions and I can't give the justified attention and care that your question calls for right now.

The Human Centipede. Not joking. A lot of scary movies I know uses the supernatural or ideas of the unknown to instill fear into the audience, but true fear is knowing what is absolutely possible and having no power to stop or overcome it. For THC, the monster is just a twisted doctor with a love for his dogs with having luck on his side to be able to commit to disgusting horrors without any obstacles to several poor victims. The scariest part for me is the ending and not the actual experiment or torture. I spoilered the ending

At the end after the entire tragedy the screen pans upward with no sound except the sound of birds chirping/general forest sounds, showing that these possible tragedies happen everyday without any notice and often are not given any significance. I always feared being in a tragedy that no one ever heard of or will never learn from
