Red Bull just settled a false advertising lawsuit, and now owes anyone who bought one of its drinks between Jan. 1, 2002, and Oct. 3, 2014, either $10 cash or $15 worth of Red Bull products.

Do Canadians get anything from this? I used to drink redbull before cheerleading contests like there was no tomorrow.

As far as I know this is only for American consumers

This is stupid. I never once bought a Red Bull expecting wings. Consumers that were "mislead" should also get a complimentary dunce hat to go along with that $10.

I feel like its too much of a hassle. Do you need proof that you bought a redbull?

I've never bought a redbull, but it said that you didn't. I think that would be too much hassle for them. They're already paying the $13 mil, I don't think they care if you actually bought one or not.

I managed to file my claim this morning, after many attempts. All you need to do is fill out the form with your name, address, and email, and select whether you'd like $10 cash or $15 worth of Red Bull products. No proof of purchase necessary.

You'll get a check, and keep in mind if too many people sign up, you may get less than $10 because everyone will be getting a share of the 13m.

I think the $15 in red bull products would be better...I mean, red bull has a variety of uses.

If you actually like Red Bull, sure.

I don't really care for it, and I'm pretty broke, so I'd rather be reimbursed a few dollars than get a 4-pack of something I'm just going to give to my boyfriend (who can file his own claim).

Basically some twat sued the company because it doesn't hold up its claims of "more energy than coffee" or some bullshit.

Like, who cares? It's got caffeine in it, just drink and be happy instead of costing people their jobs..

Meh, I don't drink energy drinks because they're usually too sweet, but I can imagine the energy drink addicts are having a great time with this lol
