Hi, I've downloaded the Neoquest II remote and I can't figure out how it works on Greasemonkey. Where and how do you input the directions? I'm on a Mac, so I can't use the autoplayer. Can anyone help?

You edit the track in about:config via firefox.

So go to the URL and type about:config, search for nq2 at the top, and you'll find something that says like, string.travel or something, and you put the number sequence (travel sequence) in there.

I can only find devtools.scratchpad.recentFilePaths. Typing in NqII doesn't work. :(

Did you install the extension correctly? Did you follow the guide on how to do it via the remote control? Are you using firefox?

Moves based on user defined string. To ensure compatibility, add these following values from the url about:config

greasemonkey.scriptvals.http://nq2guy.tz//NeoQuest II Remote Control.Path , string , 1
greasemonkey.scriptvals.http://nq2guy.tz//NeoQuest II Remote Control.pathIndex , integer, 0

You actually have to add those in. So you'll right click, add, and choose string for the first and integer for the second, then copy and paste what is shows all the way to the first comma. The values are the last numbers. Then you'll edit those to run the script.

The remote control only moves to one square then stops working. *sigh* I've re-downloaded it and inputted the steps, but nope.

You have to change the "1" to the string of numbers. Example, it's one now, and if you were to start left of your hometown to get ot the first cave you would replace the "1" with :

3333335711111111711111

The rest of this should be self explanatory via the actual webpage. Please read through their detailed instructions on how to use it.

I've done that, but the program still won't work.

Why don't you post a screen shot of how your about:config looks when you search for nq2?

Where it says control path and path index, there shouldn't be a comma. You will have to recreate them. I don't think you can delete them you'll just have to make new ones. So, just like you have it without the commas at the end of the preference name.
