Now, that's all fine and dandy, however, it's not as if we as a race can easily change the way we count. Not to mention that the arguments which are made aren't completely infallible.
For example, the idea that base 12 is, in a way, better because 12 has more factors than 10. That is indeed true, however, the same can be said for a lot of numbers that are bigger than 10. Ideally, one would want to make the 'number of symbols:number of factors:real-life usability' ratio the biggest it can be, whilst keeping the number of symbols low enough for us to recall and use easily...
Anyway, base 12 is supposedly better than base 10.
