Just finished Black Mirror. I freaking loved it. A bunch of dystopian short stories. It was like vonnegut goes netflix. Anyone else watch it?

I've seen up to s03e02. "Playtest" was so fucking insane, I haven't watched any again since then lol I'll finish when the semester's over.

Just as a teaser, I think that was really middle of the road for the show. There were a few that were much worse, a few that were much better. Overall, I can't recommend it highly enough. Yet another reason why the semester needs to end.

Which did you think were much better? I've seen 8/12 episodes, and there were a few in the first couple seasons that I thought were made really well, better than playtest, but I'm not sure an episode really got to me as much as that one.

My favorite was S2E2 (15 million merits), that one I thought was beautifully done. Then, I like S3E5&6, but I don't want to hype them and have you be underwhelmed. 

I was worried Nosedive would be indicative of what was to come from the netflix season. I liked the idea, but I thought it really fell flat (for me). It was too obvious, didn't really leave me thinking.

YES. I'm really partial to Season 3.

 

San Junipero made my heart grow 3 sizes. I think I'm in love with both of those girls lol

I'm watching Angry Birds (cartoon series)

I honestly didn't think I would like this at all haha. but the animation styles are minimalistic and modern, plus the individual episodes are short so it keeps my interest. they also don't talk, they make weird noises instead, which I find is fun.

I didn't like the movie much, and I would say that the cartoon series is much much more... developed?

otherwise I'm diving back into forensic files, if you want something more "grown up" 😛
