Postage is the additional charge for the seller to pack and post/deliver their item.
The way of auctioning is very similar, except for the fact that you can have set bid intervals, and it does not show a list of bidders.

Auctioning on Ebay is great! Make sure you want it for sure though because its binding and you'll be forced to purchase. Make sure the seller is reputable and read descriptions carefully, its a great site but there are people who will trick you.
