Greetings Codexians, and a very happy Christmas season to all of you

I am sure some of you are wondering about the lack of Private Applications this month, and you would be right in demanding an explanation, so here it is.

It's quite simple. This month's applications will be a snap version of our regular process. Applicants have 24 hours to apply, and in return they know their results within 24 hours.

We have also slightly modified other elements of the process to make this run more smoothly. We hope that this can be a little extra christmas gift for our contributing members.

Anyway, the regular qualifications still apply (sorry Drakonid, post count is here to stay), so if you meet the following we encourage you to apply via the Apply tab.

• 12 months of forum membership
• 1000 posts on the forum
• Consistent activity, friendliness, and/or helpfulness
• Contributions of some sort including but not limited to programming, graphics or contests participation

Not as such. The first two are firm requirements. The second two are more fluid. Activity could outweigh contest participation, and programming could outweigh either of those two. They're just things that count in your favor, nothing that counts against you.

There is. Regular members gain access to a great deal of things for free, but our most advanced offerings are for paying customers (Advanced) and those who have joined the community (Advanced+ and Private members). There are also Retireds, but they're basically forum "elders" who like to fuss a lot. In a good way though, the way your grandmother fusses at you that you don't eat enough.

The requirement never increases. Each time you post moves you further and further towards being eligible
