#1 - This is just so cute but I wish there was better focus on the cat, it took me a second to even figure out what it was. (My initial thought was that it was a bunny, because of the out of focus torso.)
#2 - This photo has a lot of potential, I wish there was a point of focus so that it would really capture just your wife and the birds. The colors are beautiful and I think the subject is nicer than the quality of the photo.
#3 - Adorable. I love kids, I am biased like that. I wish it was coloured though, I'm not a fan of monochrome images. I think overall it's a great candid-shot of an adorable kid and the quality is great.
#4 - I love this. I have no idea what it's trying to portray though. I feel like quality wise this is the best one, the colours are great and the focus is perfect. I love this girl's clothes and the picture to me would be better suited to the theme "Freedom". Lovely!

I voted for Number 3, because although it has a crappy B&W filter on it, it embodies the theme well and is actually a good picture. It only supersedes Number 1 as that picture isn't well focused; the cat is pretty blurry. Hell, I didn't even realise it was a cat until after a few seconds of studying it.
Number 2 doesn't seem to be as 'joyful' as the rest, and neither does Number 4, in my eyes.

VERY tough choice for me between #1 and #3, wish I could vote for both! I went with #1 in the end.
