!!Welcome to NeoCodex's January Gaming Month Hearthstone Competition!!

This tournament has been done twice before, and with great success! Our last champion was @Boggart ; too bad he's busy being a doctor to defend his title =[.

What you will need:

A Battle.net account (Create one here)

Download the Hearthstone game (Download here)

Play your deck(s) until at least level 10 otherwise you won't have all of the basic cards.

To participate you must be playing on the "Americas" server.

How to enter:

You should have signed up for January’s Gaming Month, sorry but now signups are Closed.

How it will work:

Each match will consist of 3 battles -- best 2 out of 3 battles wins and the winner will progress onto the next round.

Entrants may use any deck they please and there is no limit to the amount of legendry’s or composition of the deck(s).

After I send out a PM to the dueling pair with each other’s battle.net ID / email you may start your match!

After the battle(s) have finished please report the final score to me via PM.

I (Adam) will send a friend request to each of your BNet ID’s so I can randomly view the battles.

Your match may be broadcast on my Twitch channel (twitch.tv/apwut). If you are uncomfortable with people seeing your match, please let me know.

No-shows will be DQ'd and their opponent will advance to the next round by default.

No-shows will also not receive the Gaming Month participation.

Competition starts January 5th @ Midnight NST (aka 0000)

ROUND 1 -- FIGHT

P.S: Yes I'm entering my own competition to even out the numbers :p. Muwahahaha

Hint: Browse this website for ideas on how to make decks and the strategies behind them.

Bracket will be displayed soon™.

haven't played neo in forever... so midnight NST is Midnight PST correct? So if I'm in CST, that's 10PM tonight?

NST = PST.

CST = PST/NST + 2 hours (Midnight PST/NST = 2 AM CST)

EST = PST/NST + 3 hours (Midnight PST/NST = 3 AM EST)

For folks not unfortunate enough to live in the US, please visit >>THIS<< link to convert your time zone.

Your match doesn't -have- to start at midnight PST, this competition can be drug out for a bit.

You don't have to battle at 2 AM. The tournament just starts at that time to attempt to cater to those crazies in different time zones. It's up to you and your opponent to discuss what a good match time will be.

Yeah I just meant like, the pairs. :p
Like me vs rocket, you'd be playing Wharfrat. You definitely gotta make it all shiny and pretty.

Fret not; once I get all of the BNet IDs and confirm people are still around for the competition I'll do an excel sheet like I did for the last 2.

Sent my ID to you, @Adam. :)

I live in EST and so definitely will not be up to playing at insane hours or during the day when I'm at the office; hopefully whomever I'm matched up with can work around this. ;)

I think I tried running it before and it lagged a lot. My laptop is a potato so it's alright. I didn't actually play a lot back then so I'm not sure what level I am.

That's what I assumed, but how does he know if MC10 possibly knows if that happened?
