I've heard of people increasing the check for rs ban to insane times (300+), but this doesn't work for me.

I try 1 min - it spends so much time checking for rs bans that it misses everything.

I try 15 min - it checks for rs ban after a clear pretty much instantly (regardless of what I have it set to) and then waits for 15 minutes, more often than not missing the restock all together.

I try 300+ - same as above but worse.

Is there a way to make it stick to only checking when the time you've set come, or better yet, not do a rs ban check at all?

I just dont get why if I have it set to check every # minutes, it will always check when there is a clear and only then will it count down the time I've set.

I've pretty much not been able to get a thing for the last few weeks because of this.

Any ideas?

Just stop and restart Abrosia if you see it say there's a RS ban. If the ban is false, it will continue buying like normally.

is there a way that doesnt require constant checking of it?

Anybody else having a major problem with this? We can increase the number of shops it checks to determine a RS ban if we need to.

It clears all but 3 or so shops though, so to be very thorough it would have to check 80+ shops just to see if it was a clear or a ban.

I honestly think that making rs ban checking an option would be best. That way you could set it to run for only an hour or so, without ban checks. Even if you get banned in 30 minutes, its not going to be detectable really.

Or you can just have it check the Ticki Tack shop at Mystery Island. That shop never goes out of stock. lol

Where have you been hiding for the last two months? :p

Yes. It happens often enough. Up the # of shops checked to 15 maybe, and truly randomize which shops would help.

Again though, theres about 90 or so shops, only 3-5 of them stay full when there is a clear. Even if it checks 15 of them, the chance of it checking one of the shops that still has stock is pretty low

I think I kind of like the fake RS bans. My account will take a 15 minute break every hour or so... which I guess seems sort of human.

I lurk the RS boards and all the shops clear at the same time

there is no shop that keep the stock. Maybe it clears like a second slower

some shops stock right after the clear making it look like it did not clear but it is random

There is a way to check for rs ban according to the boards

After a clear, you check a tab that you did not refresh on (with items on the page) and try to buy one item

1. If you are banned, you get to the haggle page

2. If you are not banned, you get the sold out page

I only regurgitated what was discussed on the boards

did not manage to try it entirely as my other account (non-AB) hardly get banned.

I am not sure if this can be included in the program

I've seen this info being tossed around as well, and it does seem like it would work that way, but I haven't had the time (or willpower with all this lag, ugh) to test it.

Though at the same time a bunch of people who never visit the boards suddenly doing this trick would look a bit weird, should it work and there was some way to add it to Abrosia.

I'd say just have each account running Abrosia check a different shop for RS Ban status. When we get to the point where every account is in at least one shop, we start assigning more than one account per shop. Then, just have the "check for rs ban" activity check a central attribute on codex to see whether the shops are indeed empty or not?

There's now an option to bypass checking for restock bans which solves this problem. However, extended use if you're actually restock banned can lead to your account being frozen so use with caution.

Wouldn't want TNT thinking you were a robot.
