DNA can be harmful - not to mention disgusting. There's no WAY I'm eating that shit.

Almost as much as I enjoy eating GMOs (which is no unless I have no other alternative).

I like this guy because he rode a futuristic spaceship on educational television programming. He also said "chill out" to the GMO-ignorant.

I have to admit that I wasn't sure about that... By following the survey, the chance of not being sarcasm is high lol

I literally came here just to post that.

Food is made of cells, cells have DNA.

Exactly. And I love the way it makes fun of this:

If the government does impose mandatory labeling on foods containing DNA, perhaps the label might look something like this:

WARNING: This product contains deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA). The Surgeon General has determined that DNA is linked to a variety of diseases in both animals and humans. In some configurations, it is a risk factor for cancer and heart disease. Pregnant women are at very high risk of passing on DNA to their children.

I am all for increased food labelling.

I understand the nature part of this but I feel it's my right to know if my food is modified and the genetics of an animal or otherwise helped alter the genetic makeup of what I'm going to consume.

I just think regulations in general need to be more strict and force companies to be honest and forth coming. How many 'natural' foods are really just rebranded junk food that's predominately HFCS in a green box....

I want DNA in my food, the au naturale un processed sort :)
