I know, I've seen some videos CaptainSparklez has done on some of these "vanilla mods" and it's just insane. Like making birds and stuff. It's just so insane. Although I personally feel that command blocks have also drawn the community away from the core idea of minecraft, survive, build, create. It feels to me that more people are just playing the mini games/survival maps etc. that people create.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything, I just feel that the game is straying from what the core value of the game was. It's still a superb game in my opinion

Even the supposed "amazing" stuff (to me) that I build on the Neocodex server, which is what I will always consider to be my main home (and that's where I build the things I like most) are on there...and it's all simple, easy-peasy, and perfectly attainable without Command Block mods.

 

Do you have any interest in perhaps joining the Neocodex server at some point? I absolutely adore it.

Oh boy...this one (Skyblock Modified 2.7) has a LOT of extra stuff thrown in...anyone know anything about it?

Nah, I'm not too interested in joining the Neocodex server since I don't play MC much anymore because of school. It's mostly due to the fact I don't need another distraction XD. Already too many as it is.

True, as an additional distraction, that would be bad if you have too many already. Should you ever change your mind though, we'd love to have you join.

Wow.  Ok.  Got it and launched it... and it's so far out of my normal experience I'm completely lost.  Probably doesn't help that I didn't start playing until 1.8.  Will keep trying after reading your blog on it and maybe watching some tutorials.
