lol it's an extremely well designed website. I'm pretty sure that they're having problems with it now only because of the server transfer. Sure it could be more modern but the fact is that it's secure and well built. The goal with my site idea is to improve upon the Neopets-style implementation of the web-based pet game idea.

Things Neopets is not

These concurrency issues have existed for years. Neopets hasn't seen innovation in the best part of a decade. I don't know why you are so easily impressed.

I've wanted to make a good alternative for years, but I have no programming skill. I'd be interested to know about Codex members making their own, though.

 

As for cheating, personally I'd rather see a really cheat-proof site where playing legit is almost as/more fun than just getting rich.

im probably bumping a dead thread here but it doesnt need to be a pets game per say.

Just have an economy and a shop system also collectables would be nice
