Mashed Potatoes of LURV
8 bananas worth of potatoes
enough water to cover potatoes in medium size pot
2/3 banana worth of butter or similar (I only had margarine to work with
)
3 splashes of whole milk, cream or similar
banana stem worth of salt
dash of seasoned salt
dash of oregano
dash of sage
pinch of parsley
hearty amount of paprika (see what I did there?)
Let water and salt mingle in pot and turn the heat up
Cut up potatoes and introduce them to boiling water
Let them get to know each other until the potatoes are soft and don't resist penetration
Pour off almost all of the salty liquid (don't forget to turn off the stove)
Add dairy
DO THE MASHED POTATO
Season to taste, except the paprika
Smooth the surface of the mashed potatoes
Cut out a heart shaped piece of paper and set it on top
Sprinkle paprika around the perimeter of the heart
Take the paper back off the mashed potatoes and present to loved one.
