I got a level 99 shiny Magikarp. Imagine how hard that's going to be to level up just to get my shiny Garados. -__-

And correct, but I believe the chance of breeding a shiny is slightly higher if one of the parents is already iirc.

Just be careful, you can get bad eggs from this if the creator didn't make the Pokemon properly. I'm sure you can override those with other QRmons but ehh, just a heads up :V
 
So the best legal checker is to try and wonder trade or battle spot it right? I might just make some competitive Pokemon because fuck breeding hahah

If the digital copies are the same price as the real box copies, why not just buy the box copy?

Which game is it where you have to buy the magikarp from that guy because it doesn't show up in the game? I know there's one I just can't remember which. 

That one kid though, "I'll beat you with the magikarp my dad gave me!". Unless your dad gave you a shiny magikarp, he doesn't love you kid, sorry.

 

Also, I used this to download every legendary I can't get in alpha sapphire before getting the national dex. No chasing legendaries for me!

Couldn't you get a case for them or something? I know that some 3DS cases have slots for the cartridges.

I'd have to wait for a shop to open and leave my house to grab the game, wait a few days for shipping to process, or pay an extra fee for release day shipping.

None of which I want to do for certain games that I can download at 10/11 PM the night of release.

Good points from everyone. I love my boxes because I'm so used to them. I love ripping off the plastic and taking out the pristine manual, along with that feeling of popping in the cartridge for the first time.

Don't get me wrong I like physical too, but I've grown inpatient and have a 64GB SD card that needs filled.

Plus in running out of shelf space.
