The longer time goes on the dumber Iris seems to be imo.

Ooooh how did I not know about this board before? Really wondering what happened to Grod, unless I missed the end of an episode, because I usually fall asleep around that time.

This is what has always confused me with time travel. You would think that is the case but Eddie didn't die until after everything happened, so the Reverse Flash did exist there, just because he's gone at that point when Eddie killed himself, doesn't mean it cancels out everything he ever did before that exact time. I have such a hard time explaining things so I hope that makes any sense.

Basically guardians of the timestream.
Prevent criminals from going back and mucking things up, fix other disturbances, keep things on track, etc etc.
Either way, season two can not get here fast enough. Nor can the Arrow/Flash spinoff.
Now just hoping Supergirl lives up to their standards so far. Quite a high bar to hit.

Ooooh, I know them!
Ugh, I can't wait either. Flash was the only show I was watching at the moment, for some reason I can't get attached to any other show anymore
Check my status update about Supergirl for a brief review

DAE think the Flash was a complete jerk in the finale? Harrison Wells held up his end of the bargain by providing the means to travel back in time and save Nora. Barry made the choice not to and that's on him. I can't believe he would renege on their deal.

His own future self told him not to save her, so it was meant to happen and he obviously knew something that current Barry didn't know, and my thoughts where that Harrison Wells knew that already, it was like Wells had him go back in time just to watch his mother get murdered all over again. Plus, he watched Wells murder his mother, which pissed him off more.

Hey guys, I'm a little late to the party. I finally finished watching Arrow and Flash though!

Here's what I don't understand about the finale though:
Barry doesn't save his mother because it would screw up the timeline and he's happy with the timeline he's lived already. BUT when Eddie Thawne kills himself, he effectively kept Eobard Thawne from ever existing. If he never existed, how could he ever have killed Barry's mother? How does this not counteract Barry's decision not to change the timeline?

Because if Eobard didn't kill Barry's mother then Eddie wouldn't have been in the situation to need to kill himself therefore Eobard is still born in a different (possibly main/true/real) timeline? A grandfather paradox.
