I decided to start making little things with clay. Mostly jewelry holders and stuff. I only have white clay right now, but I'm going to get colored clay so I can do cool marble designs that I've seen.

 

Here's what I did so far: 

 

 

It's no done because I'm going to do something with gold paint and glaze. Not sure what yet. The first one I made wasn't so good because I didn't have anything keeping it in place in the oven (now I have some oven safe bowls) but here it is:

First attempt so it looks like dung but I tried. 

 

Soooo I'm going to try to make it a hobby, and I will post more of my results here for you all.

Also, I ordered more clay ( more white, black and a pack of 39 colors) so I can do a cool marble technique I found. They should be here Saturday so I'll probably make one then and show you all. Hopefully it turns out okay.

I tried some marbling too, but I don't like it much. I'll keep trying.

I like the marbling ^^ That little one in the top left corner immediately caught my eye. Love it! I don't know anything about clay, but I know what I think is pretty

The gold adds a really nice touch to the flower. Seeing all this makes me want to give a try too some day. In school they're never satisfied with drawings only.

Wow! I really love these. The marbled one with gold trim a couple posts above is pretty too. I know nothing about this kind of stuff, but it all looks awesome to me.
