So, I really like the Avatar Parsing function that Neocodex has. Very convenient. However, what is not convenient is when I can only parse once a week, which gets really annoying when I'm out avatar hunting. So, my suggestion is to make the wait time for parsing lower, like once a day or something, for higher ranked members (adv and above?). This acts as another encouragement to get advanced membership or to strive for adv+, which benefits Neocodex by more revenue and/or contributions, AND I get to be happy. Win-Win-Win!

You know you can add them individually without parsing your avatars, right?

I did not, but by now I forgot which ones I got, so parsing is more convenient. Plus, getting all the avatars in at once is easier and time efficient.

I have sometimes thought of this. Why is there a once a week rule anyways? I just clear all, and then parse again if i have new avatars to add during the week.

I'd imagine there's a limit because of the load that parsing avatars puts on the server(even though I'm sure it's a small one), and it could be exploited to cause server lag.

It works great for me. I'm 100% sure that parsing is working.

Doesn't parse 4 avatars I have. And thinks I have 307 avatars. Which I dont. Even if I clear before parsing.

SOME avatars don't work, but overall, it works great.

Which ones don't work?

The number given in the statistics will be different to the one Neopets gives on your user lookup because they don't count some of the avatars towards your total.

I have noticed that the 'hidden tower' avatars don't work. I have read the first book a couple of times before realizing that i had already gained the avatar. It still doesn't show in the log that i have achieved it.

Also the wheel of extravagance avatar doesn't log work for me.

Edit: Would also be nice to have 'retired' avatars removed from the list of needed avatars.

That one should work now too. If you find any more which are wrong post them in here, it just means the data was entered slightly incorrectly by whoever added that avatar to the system.

Retired avatars are removed from the list of needed avatars?

After reading all this I became curious. Is there a way to view the person with the most avatars, or like a top 10?

Or does this exist already, and I am just overlooking it?

Upon looking at it again, some avatars that are retired are still on the list.

It's just a case of us forgetting to put them into the Retired category when they do retire, I've updated all of those now. :p
