Blizzard announced today that it has launched the mobile port of Hearthstone, playable on both iOS and Android mobile phones. The new version of the game features a completely redesigned interface to make it playable on much smaller screens.

 

As with previous versions, players' card collections will remain tied to their Battle.net account, so you'll be able to share progress between the Windows PC, Mac, tablet and mobile versions of the game.

 

And this lovely little extra

 

 

Blizzard also announced that anyone who finishes one full game of Hearthstone in its mobile iteration will be rewarded with a free classic card pack. Classic card packs are also available for anyone who finishes a game on iPad and Android tablets.

It was available only on "tablet" devices. There wasn't a version available for screens smaller than 6 or so inches. (sex joke here)

When I try to install the game, it gets stuck at 94%. After some search I found out that it's happening to others as well, and I found the solution.

 

If you can't install it through the Google Play Store, download the Amazon Appstore and then download Hearthstone from there.

Now that this has been out for a while, would anyone care to chime in on whether or not it was a good idea? Are you still playing on the mobile? I never (remember to) try anything right away, and now I'm worried that it bombed (considering how all the chat in this thread abruptly stops the day after it started... (I don't see a continuation of it in another thread, if that exists, please direct me!)

I just started playing Hearthstone! It's so good to see a nice card game again!

Love this game so far. I tried it out on my iPhone and got hooked instantly, although getting a Tirion Fordring on the free quest deck probably helped. I have no cards to make a deck with it though and, half the time, I just wing it in games. It's extremely fun though and I'm learning as much as I can with the few cards (mostly default ones) that I have.

 

Anyone know the odds of getting a legendary from a pack? I'm deciding whether or not to buy a pack of decks.   Oh! If anyone wants to add me, it's mvux#1702
