Some employers got back to me saying that they're interested! Hopefully this one will pan out since the last time I was in the application process they dropped me literally last minute (two days before i was supposed to start my first shift)

I finished my first 80 week of residency, and not only did none of my patients die, but I did some pretty cool stuff! Day one I felt like a Med student, but I am already feeling like a doctor now

I'm going to West Virginia tomorrow to visit one of my closest friends. I'm so excited. I'm only going for three days but it will be really nice to get to see him.

I went driving for the first time since my seizure a few months ago and didn’t die!
Also I finally got some energy today and have been spending the day outside

I found out yesterday (Friday) that after more delays then I could have ever imagined, we are finally closing on our home on Dec 27th.
I feel a bit sad that I am missing out on the Holiday season, because we aren't really celebrating or decorating and our house is a mess of cardboard boxes right now.
However, today is my husband's birthday (he's just older, not really wiser, lol) and we had a wonderful breakfast together sitting on the carpeted floor of our living room, using packed boxes as our tables, with an electric-lit candle (so our cats don't hurt themselves) eating take out McDonalds.
It was like we were back in collage all over again ... almost 20 years after I met him, I am sitting on the floor eating cheap takeout and talking about the video games we play.
and I realized with a heart full of love, that I fall in love with him again and again, every day
