I wish I liked kale, but I just can't get over the texture on my tongue. I hate it raw, it's not much better cooked, and kale chips are alright, but nothing special. It's got to be the texture that I don't like because I love spinach, chard, collards, and pretty much all other leafy greens.

My kale chips sucked lol next time I'll add more seasonings. I don't like the draw texture either, I felt it when I ate my chips because they weren't crunchy enough. For now the only kale I like is braised kale.

I made some yummy cauliflower tots with cauliflower (obviously), onions, green peppers, panko bread crumbs, and a little bit of parmesan sprinkled on top. I don't know if that counts.

I like making cod with baby red potatoes.

I made some guacamole to use as a mayo substitute. I dunno. Just things.

No... I usually eat half the skin too.

I can't tell if you're being serious because I do intentionally eat the skin of certain fruits (pomegranates) because that's supposedly where a lot of good stuff is, just never kiwi.

It was pretty satisfying! I don't like runny egg yolks, though, so mine was a little dry/bland. Next time I'll probably add a bit of cheese or sriracha or something.

Runny yolks are the best part for me. Also, cheese and/or sriracha does sound good. I usually have it with mushrooms so that could be why I never have a problem with moisture.

I am being serious.

I really hate the first week after I start eating properly again. I really just wanna go bury my face in a bowl of annie's mac and cheese. :(

I was pretty good today!

Chia pudding with bananas for breakfast

Beach salad for lunch (tons of mixed greens, quinoa, goat cheese, strawberry, candied pecans, avocado)

Roasted potatoes, carrots, corn and broccoli for supper

Just ate an apple and some popcorn to finish off

(( had an ice cream cone earlier that I didn't finish ))

Felt like I was a good kid today:

Breakfast: Granola, yogurt, blueberries and raspberries.

Lunch: 2 Boiled eggs, a clementine, homemade iced match green tea (delicious), and my cheat: fruit snacks.

Dinner: Chicken salad with black beans and corn and lemon juice for a dressing.

Went for 5 mile run (jogging stroller got a flat tire half way thru, fml that sucked)- training for that 1/2 marathon in August.

Came home and had "dessert:" granola, yogurt, blueberries, raspberries (seriously, it's my go-to healthy sweet treat).

PB and banana sandwich on multigrain with way too many honey grahams

Some strange pesto pita sandwich thing with curly fries

Is everyone in this thread just eating vegetarian food or what?

Yesterday, I started with potatoes and eggs, aged white cheddar, and a clementine. For lunch, I had a kale, spinach, chard salad with tuna fish and olives. For dinner, I had honey mustard chicken wings with peas, carrots, corn, and green beans, and sweet potatoes. And really, if anyone wants to see what I eat, I shove it all on instagram.

Breakfast:

11198834_10153171742451418_142248845_n.j

This is a superfood 'cereal' it has chia seeds, buckwheat groats, hemp seeds, dried cranberries, almonds and vanilla in it.

I add 3 spoonfuls of the cereal and at least 6 spoonfuls of soy milk to it. I then go shower and come back and its all absorbed and lovely.

Then I chop up a banana and add it as well as some strawberries :) A sprinkle of cinnamon and good to go!

This will keep me full for SO long, plus a cup of water :)

My salad also had fresh red leaf microgreens from my garden. I forgot.

Had some apples and cinammon oatmeal with milk for breakfast. Honestly my favorite thing to wake up to, besides sex obv. No idea what I'll be having for lunch. Probably a "caprese" sandwich with spinach and ham. For dinner we're having gumbo. Nothing fancy - just rice, seasoning, and some andouille sausage. Grilling shrimp and scallops on the side.

Honestly hoping I keep this dinner down because for some reason, I've been vomiting at night. May have to switch to a liquid diet (protein shakes and fresh juices) for a while if that doesn't turn around soon.

I wouldn't say it's healthy, but it's definitely better than sugar. I had feijoada for dinner :9

I love how fruity padme and rob's breakfasts are. I wish I had more fruit in my breakfast, but anything mildly tart overwhelms me in the morning and I don't have the time to shave a cantaloup before heading out at 7.

Caprese sandwich with spinach and ham sounds delicious, will have to do that soon. Sorry to hear about night unpleasantness. But gumbo is rather smooth and not too heavy (as opposed to steak) so hopefully it went down ok.

There ended up being no tomatoes or ham left so I just waited for the gumbo... which did not stay down lol. Oh well, I'll try something easier tomorrow. Thanks for thinking of me :)

My favourite thing to do with a cantaloupe is to just cut it in half, saran wrap the other half. Scooop out the cuts, then I put yoghurt and fruit in the middle and it's an edible bowl!!! :D

I'm gonna start doing this instead of succumbing to the goddamn bread bowls that plague plans for eating healthy. Gonna try it with vanilla Greek yogurt, chia seeds, and anything else lovely and fresh that I find in my fridge.

For the past month I've been on soylent. I also add some chopped jalapeno for taste. The only thing I'm taking in addition to that are vitamin D capsules because Estonia is like fucking Mordor.

Had a check up pre-soylent and had a check up two days ago and everything's great, so there's that.

I imagine it's not for everybody though, I'm not really the type of person who has a regular response to the hunger feeling (not that I've experienced it while on soylent, it's actually a pretty 'filling' feeling) nor do I really care about the texture in my food. Sure I can enjoy a crusty grilled cheese but its not something I have to have.
