Surprisingly, the Altador Cup is back for another year, and so is Team Codex. Last year was a success, and together we can make it happen again! It could be easier, because Neo has less players this time, but that could also make it harder. What matters is that we unite and show the power of our community!

Again, the team will be announced when the sign-ups start. WHEN THEY START. 2 pm NST.

The team won't be announced until the new sign-ups start. You might be wondering why I didn't announce it yesterday, as expected. It's because the sign-ups were delayed to Tuesday.

With the recent "leaks" and rumors, I'd like to remind you to wait until we officially post our team in the ACX subforum. If you're going with Team Codex this year, don't choose your team before reading the announcement with your own eyes. Be patient.

 

"How can I access the subforum?", you may ask. Well, it's simple. These are the requirements:

 

Before May 23

• 50 non-spam posts
• 2 week old account
• Advanced Subscription and higher

May 23

• 50 non-spam posts

May 25

• 25 non-spam posts
• Member for 24 hours

 

 

GOAL

 

The goal of Team Codex is to have everyone join one team for the Altador Cup and play Score Send/AoB our hearts out. This will bring the community together and hopefully bring home a first place trophy again!

 

 

THE PLAN

 

The plan is pretty much the same as last year's. What we need to do is simply run our Score Senders 24/7 (or until we reach the cap) and cover our chosen team's weakness. From what we saw last year, the risk of getting frozen is mostly (if not only) related to user error, not because they used the SS. So as long as you are careful with your lists, you're safe.

The SS already can do YYB. It's been able to do that for a while now. Unless you mean the score list for YYB. Last year didn't a couple of our members put up a site with lists for each game every day? I can't remember who it was though..
It would be awesome for anyone to do that again. I sort of can't find some of my lists from last year that worked fine.

I think it was two years ago that it was added, so it's still fairly new.
Be great if we could add a break function in it, sort of like the scheduler in Abrosia. You could just tell the SS to wait like an hour between game ID's. So after it finished one ID, like YYB, it would wait an Joe before moving on to the next game ID in the list. (basically a master list instead of multiple ones, so you don't have to change the list when it finishes one game).

That was me a year ago, May 14th. I had less than 10 posts iirc. You can do it, just don't limit yourself to the Neopets subforum only, there are some great topics in the General Chat subforum. And you still have ~20 days to do it, it's not that hard
