Anyone else watched this on Netflix? I'm about to go watch the final episode of the first season! I don't want to wait another year to see season 2

I was going to start watching this since Agents of Shield, Flash, Arrow, and Big Bang Theory are all finished for the season.

I haven't watched any of it but surely it couldn't possibly be any worse than the film was? Sooooo many superhero TV shows recently though, market saturation much?

BEST. SHOW. EVER.
If I never saw another comic book or show/movie based on a comic I'd be perfectly okay because I saw the masterpiece that was Daredevil.
Seriously. Of all the ones currently out, this is the best one yet.
Cannot wait for season two or the other Netflix original series. Should be dang near equally enjoyable through and through.

I totally agree, which is why I refused to watch it at first. I personally was never interested in Daredevil as I think his story is so boring and cliche, but the show does a great job of it and the characters were cast well.

heh yeah, before the Netflix show came out I had ZERO interest in Daredevil beyond the occasional crossover with Spider-Man (awesome dynamic between those two btw lol) in the comics. Now I'm actually itching to read more about this guy.
Definitely thought it was well cast.
Rosario Dawson was a more than pleasant surprise - expect, or at least hoping, she'll be in the others as well. Watch the Night Nurse origin grow over the span of several shows.

As superheroes go his superpowers aren't particularly impressive, he's pretty much one step up from Aquaman.
(Also, welcome back. )

Lot of people were knocking his portrayal of Wilson Fisk.
Personally I thought it was quite the refreshing take.
Also, it's an origin story. I fully look forward to his portrayal as the ruthless Kingpin of Crime at his peak in future seasons.
Really hope he hires Bullseye within the next two seasons then get some Punisher action involved potentially setting up another spinoff series.
Netflix's Punisher - so dark, so bloody as it should be.

I know, it's a bit silly. Also in the series (spoilers?) he manages to survive several hard beatings SOMEHOW, even though that's not one of his superpowers. Oh well.
And thanks!

I quite like him as Kingpin, though he does put on a stupid deep raspy voice sometimes. It's not very consistent, he should just stick with his regular speaking voice.
Punisher.. *drool* we can only hope!

Have you watched Shield/Arrow/Flash is it better than those?
I watched the Supergirl pilot and it felt like a waste of time lol

IDK man. I kinda like the human element to it.
Gives it a sense of realism and depth the super powered hero shows/movies lack.
Fighting wise he seems like he could give Batman a run for his money in hand to hand, even with his gadgets.
Would pay to see that crossover.
*googles*
Oh. That already happened. Sweet.

Really found Vanessa to be quite the interesting character as well.

Haha yeah, I watch them all... though I'm behind on the Arrow finale and in no rush to check out the Supergirl pilot (can only hope she becomes a more interesting character/better show over the years like Smallville).
As much as I LOVE Flash & Arrow I'd say it certainly gives Arrow a run for its money. Flash... different ballpark. Easier to compare dark & dark than light & dark, y'know? Probably say it's on par with Flash though.
My personal ranking:
Flash & Daredevil > Arrow > iZombie > Agents of Shield > Smallville > Supergirl
potentially
Legends of Tomorrow > Flash & Daredevil > Arrow > etc etc

10/10 would pay to see that crossover too. xD
I really enjoyed the show. I had never been into Daredevil comics or anything, and honestly wasn't impressed with Arrow. My expectations were low when it came to yet another superhero TV show, but I fell in love with it and totally binge-watched it. Kinda bummed its gonna be so long for s2 (and I really hope s2 doesn't disappoint)
I actually considered re-watching the first season, because I liked it so much.
