Maraquan and Wraith Draiks are both pretty cool but is one color more popular than the other in terms of value?

Take a peek at the prices of the PBs and Draik MPs and you can kind of gauge the worth based on that. Any well named Draik with a decent color will do pretty well.

I think Maraquan tend to be pretty sought after, so that is always a good choice.  

 

And to add to Shannon's post, training them a little could help too if you are looking to trade it for something else

Robot! I've been trying to zap 2 draiks and they turned Faerie and Maraquan   I also get a lot of steath zaps for some reason so it devalues it for me.

In terms of "coolness" I'd say Stealthy, Maractite, or even Faerie imo anyways. Possibly even Pastel or Maraquan.

In terms of value, especially if you think/plan to eventually sell it... it's harder to say.
Draik Morphing Potions & Eggs are at an all time low due mostly to a daily activity or two.

(The exception possibly being mutant since that's still entirely up to Lord Sloth's generosity.)

If you have a FFQ I'd probably go with anything you can't just get via 300k-350k and paintbrush of choice... like Chocolate or Jelly. Or mutant (Draik Transmogrification Potions: 20m).

If no FFQ then... well, the more expensive paint brushes currently are: 
Woodland (1.5m), Zombie (1.5m), Mystery Island (1.5), Maractite (1.5m), Faerie (1.5m), Eventide (1.7m), Water (1.9), Desert (2m), Wraith (2m), Transparent (3m), Maraquan (3m), Pastel (3-4ish m), Stealth (4m).

 

Personally, going for that Stealthy Draik once I'm no longer K-Quest training.

For me I'd say Maraquan Draiks are lovely, but a Pastel Draik would be equally as lovely.

Between maraquan vs wraith, definitely wraith, but I saw an awesome water/ld draik posted on /r/neopets a couple months ago that looked awesome...

Ice, Water, Zombie, Maraquan I'd say are the best.

Robot/Ice are probably the rarest though.

Imo I would choose darigan draik. It's actually one of my dream pets and I can't wait till I can afford it!
