My too vivid imagination thanks you for that image. A chicken pulling up its feathers and showing its thighs to unwary drivers that, hit by perplexity, throw their car off road to french kiss a tree.

But maybe..... because Fork in the road. Pitchfork in your barn for pitching baseballs. Forks in your drawers for eating stuff that comes from that general area.
