Basically you go to this link everyday and you get neopoints depending on how the ending icons.

 

 

The more days you go in a row the more neopoints you get after 25 days of consecutively going you get 100k.

 

It resets every 24 hours and you can get gift boxes from this. 

 

 

The more matches you get the more neopoints unless you get the bad luck bonus.

 

If you miss a day it resets back to day 1.

 

That's really all I know, pretty simple.

The Terrifyingly Bad Luck Bonus is awarded for having, well, bad luck. If you play and your slots machine shows up 4 different items, you have the chance of being awarded extra points. However, you can only win this bonus once in a while. So, if you have Terrifyingly Bad Luck more than once within a week, well, that's just worse than terrifyingly bad luck and even we can't help you.

They released only the FAQ because they wanted people to actually read it so they wouldn't fill up the boards with stupid questions that were answered in the FAQ. Or they think that releasing the FAQ will help them make sure it does what it's supposed to. 

Either way, they should have at least given us a date on when to expect this new slot machine.

TNT has been doing this let's-release-the-FAQ-before-anything-else for a long time now. If you notice, all events (big or small) have had their FAQ released days before the actual event.
I agree with Satsuki on her opinion that's probably to keep mayhem in the boards to a minimum, and it makes sense.

I don't think NP is that valuable, because no one is spending it, because no one is buying anything, because we have 81758599493929 dailies that give out pretty much anything we want. xD
If this new daily -or whatever this thing end up to be- will give NP like that, my opinion is that will hurt the "economy" even more.
But, eh, what do I know? e.e
