The database had a few pets with wrong birthdays (one day too soon or too late), so you might've picked one of them

I thought that might be the problem, but I checked its birthday, and its the tenth (but checking the lookup did the show the cupcake screen, I should have made a screen shot of it...)

 

Edit: I abandoned it this morning, but from what I can remember, it was a red gelert (probably Sowolf on Nov 10 list)

Hm, weird... I haven't tried it today (I don't have space for any more pets), but @Romy said it still works, so maybe it was just a bug?

I have done it everday since the thread creation and not iced.  Also I know of many members that do it and even post on the boards the name of the pet whos BD it is and never get iced.
